John West< no role > maketh oath that about Thirty Six
Years ago he was Bound Apprentice by Indre to
one Isaac Alexander< no role > a Waterman of the Parish of
East Greenwich in the County of Kent with whom
he served two years of his apprenticeship and then
went to sea for the Remainder of his Apprenticeship
with his Masters approbacon his said Master from
time to time receiving this Deponents Wages for
such service By Means whereof this Deponent as he
is advised acquired a legal settlement in the said
Parish And this Deponent saith that he hath
not since rented a house of Ten pounds by the Year
or upwards Nor served any Parish offices nor been
a hired servant by the year Nor done any Act
to Acquire a subsequent settlement to this Deponts
knowledge or belief
