Nicholas Mackean< no role > maketh oath that about
forty seven years ago he was duly bound an apprentice
by Indre for the Term of Seven years to John
Bishop
< no role > of St Martin le Grand in the parish
of St Leonard in Foster Lane in the City of London Cordwainer
with whom this Deponent served all his time
save about fourteen Months and then left
his sd Master And this Depont saith that he hath
not since lived as a hired servant by the Year
Nor been an Apprentice Nor rented a house of
ten pounds a year or upwards Nor Done any Act
to the knowledge or belief of this Depont. to gain
any subsequent settlemt.
