deced maketh oath that her sd. late husband has
often informed her that he was born in Parrott
Alley in ye parish of St. John Wapping in the
County of Middx And that she has been informed
by her sd husbands Mother that this Deponents
Father Richard Humphrys< no role > Served his
apprenticeship to an Anchor Smith in the sd.
parish And this Deponent Saith that She and
her two Children Mary< no role > and Susannah< no role > was
passed from the sd. parish of St. Botolph
witht. Aldgate to the said parish of Saint
John Wapping about Twenty five years ago
as the place of their legal settlement which
Order or pass warrant to the knowledge or
belief of this Depont. was never vacated or
set aside And this Deponent farther saith
that her sd. Daur Susannah< no role > was Never Married to her
knowledge or belief And that her sd. Daur Susannah< no role >
hath a Child baptised by ye Name of William< no role >
who was born a Bastard in Black Horse
Yard in ye sd. parish of St. John Wapping
And this Depont. is now in ye workhouse of St. Jn Wappg.
