often informed by his Uncle Nicn. Smith< no role > that this
Deponts. father James Smith< no role > dead about twenty Years
ago Rented a house in Great Russell Street
in the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the
sd. County of Middx and paid above Ten pounds
a Year for the Same and all Parish Taxes and
by Means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
as this Depont. is informed & believes And this
Depont. Saith that he hath a Sister Named Mary< no role >
a Singlewoman & of. Age the lawfull issue of
this Deponents sd. Father who was Never a
hired Servant by the Year nor apprentice Nor gained any Subsequent
Settlement but in right of her Sd. fathers Settlemt.
