[..] twenty two years ago he was bound apprentice
to John Forster< no role > a Mathematical Instrument
Maker who then lived in ye Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch in ye County of Middx
with whom he lived about six years then his
Master removed into the Precinct of the
Savoy in the County of Middx and kept a
shop there known by the sign of the Mariner
& Globe with whom this Deponent served
the residue of his time with his said Master
in the sd. Precinct And this Depont saith
that he never was a hired servt. by the year
nor never rented a house of Ten pounds a year
or upwards nor served any parish offices
Nor gained any Settlement Subsequent to
servd his apprenticeship as aforesd. And saith
that he has a wife named Mary< no role > .
