The Examination of Mary Davis< no role > Singlewoman
taken on oath before me one of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx
residing in a Near the parish of St. Botolph
witht. Aldgate in the County of Middx this
Seventh day of September 1754

This Examinant on her oath Saith that about
Seven Months ago one John Palmer< no role > who
lodged then in Great Russell Street in Covent
Garden in the County of Middx Comedian
at the house of one Mr. Walters a Chymist
did prevail with this Examinant to Suffer him
to lye with her at the house of ye sd Mr. Walters
And the sd John Palmer< no role > had Carnal knowledge
of this Examinants body and so had several
times whereby she Conceived with Child or
Children of which she now goeth and
is Pregnant And this Examinant Saith
that the sd. Child or Children of which
