Continued Wednesday 1st. October 1777.

Mr Horne and about three Pounds of Butter and three Pounds of
Cheese and about four or five Pounds of Meat a Week. That he always
weighted it, but kept no Account. That these things were sent by Order of
the Steward but that Mr. Horne sometimes Ordered things himself.
That the Meat sent was sometimes Mutton at other times Veal. That
he sent small Beer once a Week and sometimes once a fortnight at one
time he sent two Jacks of Beer containing about ten Gallons at other
times one two or three Gallons a Week. That for about two Months the
Milk was carried from the Hospital. but afterwards his fellow Servant
carried it from the Apothecaries Shop. That about three Pints of
Milk were sent every day. That about a Year ago some things were
sent by Mr. Horne's Order when he come to see the Meat weighed on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. That Mr. Horne Ordered the Steward to
send such and such things. That he never had a half penny or any
Gratuity from Mr. Horne for his trouble. That he never saw Mr. Horne
pay for any thing but Apprehended he paid the Steward. That Mr.
Horne had at one time a Leg to Pork and at another time a Spring of
Pork . That he had Particular Orders from Mr. Horne to send
Bread every day and general Orders from the Steward to send some things
every day and others once a Week. That he sent Milk every Sunday.

And it further Appears by the Evidence of Watkin Walters< no role > an
Assistant Basketman -that he has been in the Hospital about one
Year. That it is about four Months ago since he began to carry
Provisions to Mr. Horne. That he took about a Quarter of a Loaf and
three Pints of Milk every day and Butter about once a Week. That he
carried Mutton or Veal once or twice a Week either on Tuesdays or
Saturdays. That as it was not paid for he took no Notice of the Quantity
That he believes he took about three Pounds of Butter a Week in a
Pan and about three Pounds of Cheese. That he carried the Milk at
eight o'Clock in the Moining and afterwards about a Quarter of a
Loaf of Bread. That about two Months ago Mr. Horne sent for two Jacks
of Beer that he look one, and his fellow Servant the other. That they
contained abut four or five Gallons each. That in General he had Orders
from the Steward to carry things to Mr. Horne. That sometimes Mr.
Horne's Man would tell him they wanted Butter on Cheese, and when Mr.
Horne has been at the Hospital he has Ordered Particular things to be
