Upon Reading an Order made by the Committee of
Bethlem Hospital on the 7th. day January Instant in the Words
and figures following Vizt. This Committee having been
informed by the Surgeon, that Mortifications frequently happen to the
Patients in this Hospital in Cold Weather. It is Ordered
that the feet of every Patient in Chains or Straw be carefully
examined well rubbed and covered with Flannel by the respective
