Mr. Deputy Rogers & James Hebert< no role > Esqr . two of the governors reported
that in pursuance of an Order of Court of the first of December last they
had made Inquiry and found that Richard Bone< no role > late Apprentice to
James Smith< no role > was set up for himself in his Trade and has the Character of a
diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said
Richard Bone< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him in
his next Account

Hanson John the like


Edward Unfreville< no role > Esqr . & Mr Richd Crowther< no role > two of the governors reported
that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the first of December last they
had made Inquiry and found that John Hanson< no role > late Apprentice to
Joseph Sharpe< no role > was set up for himself in his Trade and has the
Character of a diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk
do pay the said John Hanson< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr Fowkes Gift to
be allowed him in his next Account

Tucker James< no role > the Like


John Horne< no role > Esqr & Joseph Pickering< no role > Esqr two of the governors
reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the first of December
last they had made Inquiry and found that James Tucker< no role > late Apprentice
to Wm. Wilby< no role > Senr was set up for himself in his Trade and has the
Character of a diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk
do pay the said James Tucker< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to
be allowed him in his next Account

Earl of Sandwich The Right Hon Lord Folkstone John Glynn< no role > Esqr Recorder

Hospitals

Whereas by an Order of Court made the first day of December
Instant It was Ordered that it should be referred to the House
Committee to form and Settle a Plan for regulating the Accounts
and revenues of these Hospitals as new to the mode used in Saint
Bartholomews Hospital as might be to Commence from Christmas
next and that they should report their Proceedings and Opinion for
the Approbation of this Court Now Upon Reading the said Order
and this Court having duly weighed and Considered the same Do think
fit to Enlarge the power thereby given and do Order that a General
Inquiry be made by the Committee into the State of the Finances
of and all other matters relating to these Hospitals and that they
do report a State of their Proceedings with their Opinion to the Court
and that such Committee be open to every Governor and all who Attend
to have Voices and all governors to have Notice of the respective Meetings
to be held in Consequence of this Order
