Arts . The Reverend Josiah Distwenell< no role > Master of Arts The Revd Talbot

< no role > Master of Arts and The Reverend George Stepney Townley< no role > Master
of Arts each of them praying to be Elected Reader and Schoolmaster of
this Hospital in the room of the Reverend Mr Parfect deceased. The
governors give their Ballots which being cast up the Numbers Appeared
to be as follows

Whereupon the right Worshipful Sir Walter Rawlinson< no role > Knight &
Alderman President Declared the said Reverend Thomas Bowen< no role > duly
Elected Reader and Schoolmaster of this Hospital until the next Election
Day and It is Ordered that he do immediately Enter upon the Duties
Services incident to the said place and that he have the same Apartment
in this Hospital which the former Reader here Enjoyed.
