Upon reading a Report dated the Eleventh day of June instant under
the hands of Mr. John Furness< no role > & Mr. William Lee< no role > two of ye Governor s
of these hospitals That in persuance of an Order of Court of the 7th
day of March Last they have made enquiry and do find that John
Booth
< no role > who Served his apprenticeship in this hospital) is sett up
fox himselfe in ye Trade of a Pamaber and hath ye Character of a
diligent Sober man It is Ordered that the Clerke of this hospital
do give and pay unto ye said John Booth< no role > Ten pounds out of Mr Locks
Gift.

Upon reading a Report dated the Thirteenth day of this Instant Jane
under the hands of Mr Samuel Reble< no role > & Mr Depty Nathanl. Turner< no role >
two of the Governours of these hospital That in persuance of an
Order of Court of ye 28th day of March Last they have made enquiry
and do find that Thomas Ward< no role > and Mathew Barrett< no role > who Served
their apprenticeships in this hospital are Sett up for themselves in
their respective Trades of weavers and have ye Characters of diligent Sober men
It is Ordered that the Clerke of this hospital do give and pay
unto the Said Thomas Ward< no role > and Mathew Barrett< no role > Ten pounds a peice
out of Mr Locks Gift

Upon reading the humble Petition of GeorgeTossellForster< no role > Setting forth that he
Served his apprenticeship with John Machin< no role > weaver one if the Artsmasters
of this hospital & was made free of this City ye 31st Octor Last Psuant to
an Order of Court of ye 22d day of March 1716/7 and is Sett up for
himselfe in this said Trade at Mr Webbs in parsons Court in Bride Lane And
praying Some part of Mr Locks Gift to enable him to carry at his Trade
It is Ordered that Mr Depty Turner Mr Reble and Mr. Cully three
of the Governours of these hospitals or any two of them be desired to enquire
whethers ye sd George Forster< no role > be Sett up in his said Trade an of his
hope fullness therein and to made them Report to this Court
