Reported to ye Court That his Lordship Spoke to ye Comee to ye
Same effect as is menconed in his Letter and desired that ye

were heard before this Court upon their Complaint that the
Apprentices of this Hospital had Comitted great Disorders
and insulted Several persons on the 20th. & 31th. days of October
Last in the Evening but none of 'em could fix a Charge
upon any particular person belonging to this Hospital

William Brown< no role > and Samuel Cox< no role > two of the apprentices
in this hospital haveing been taken up by warrant from
myThe Lord Mayor and examined upon Oath before his
Lordship this morning, their Informations were laid
before this Court and read and these were thereupon
further examined & Sent home to their Masters &
Hudson another apprentice was also examined and then
the Court haveing Sat Long and night comeing on agreed
to adjourn the further examination of this matter till next
Wednesday morning but first the artsmasters were called before
the Court & Mr president told 'em that for want of their care to keep ye Boys
at home on Holyday nights great Complaints have been made of disorders
Comitted by 'em & had reach'd even his Majtys. Ears & occasioned reflection
upon & Governors. by those whose who knew not where ye fault Lay & Strictly
charged 'em for ye future to keep ye Boys at work on every Holyday & Let 'em
play ye day afterThen ye Apprentices were called in and reprimanded
and ye Beadles and Porters man were charged to give an account from
time to time to ye Trear or Comee of this house of Such Apprentices
as they see out of their Masters houses on Holydays.
