Clerk
of these Hosplls. for Such Gratuity at this Court
Should thinke meet in respect of the Small ness of his
Salary and perquisites and the increase of the business
of his Office and of the Account for the Yeare before his
admittance and of his Severall Journeys into kent on
the Astaines of the said Hospitalls And the said Clerke
laying before this Court the Cargeness of the Rentrools
and Accounts of every yeare for which the Allowance
is now more then 20s. a Yeare which is the same that
was Antiently When the Accounts lay in a little Compass
This Court upon Consideration of the Prmisses Doe thinke
fitt and Soe Order That Mr. Trear Doe give and pay
unto the Said Clerke One hundred Guineas as a Free
Gratuity of this Court with regard to his Service to-
Michas last To be allowed Mr. Trear in his next
Account And doe further Order That for the future
the Clerk of these Hosplls. be allowed Tenne pounds
a Yeare for the Making up and writing the Accounts
of both the said Hospitalls Vizt: five pounds for the
Accounts of Bridewell and five pounds for the Accounts
of Bethlem Hospll.
