them writes, that they want about a Ton of Timber
a piece for Repairs; Mr Treasurer desires you will
see if they have occasion for such a quantity; & if you
find it necessary; to let them have it, but you will take
care that nothing is cut down but what is proper to be
felled; & let Mr Treasurer know by a Letter what you
do

Mr. Treasurer has orderd me to acquaint you that he
reced yours of the 16th inst: with a Bill on Mr Thos: Chitty< no role >
for £85..15..11½ which, with the allowance of £2.. for
your ½ years Salary, will discharge the half years Rent
due at Laday last: and likewise that He will take due
care that the Leases you mention may be sent you
very speedily. I have nothing further to add but that
I know of no objection to your paying the Rent in Ports
and am
