Sr.
The Grand Committee of the Governours
of St. Thomas's Hospital having reced Information that
you have caused severall Timber & other Trees within and
parcel of the Waste of their Manner of Alvethley to be
cut down & carryed away; The said Comittee have ordered
me to write this Letter to you, desiring to known wt.
Pretence you have thought proper to cut down the said
Trees and to require yt. you make Satisfaction to the
Hospitall for the Damage you have done, Yor. Answer
hereto will oblige
