By ye Direction of the Treasurer
of St Thomas's Hospitall I write this to acquaint you
that after the long Indulgence he has shewn you, and the
great Delays and Breaches of Promise on your part in
regard to ye Payment of your Rent; the Arrear of which
is very large & continually increasing, his Compassion to you
is quite spent; And therefore I do inform you once for all
that unless you do immediately on the Rect. of this
make such a Payment as (considering what is due) your
self shall think will be satisfactory, you will be forthwith
proceeded against with ye utmost Rigour & yt without
further Notice

to desire if you do not already know that you will please to
make the necessary Enquires & inform me whether there is
such an Arrear of Business in the Manner of Topcliffs
that it is absolutely necessary to hold a Court there this
Summer, or whether it may be deferred till next year
without any materiall Inconvenience
