Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John Guidott< no role >
for
himself saith that on Monday Night the 29th of May last he went into the
house of one Charles Flannagan< no role >
calledto the Star and Garter
aforesaid with two Womenthat between two and three o'Clock the
following morning he quitted said Home That before he quitted
the same he missed from out of his Breast Coat pocket a black
Leather Pocket pocket now produced containing four Bank Notes
of the value of One Hundred Pounds each and on search
foundfoundsaid Pocket Book lying upon the Carpet of said
Room but said Bank Notes goneand further says that he is
very sure that a person now present who calls herself Esther
Davis< no role >
is one of the Women who was with him at the
Star and Garter
aforesaidthat he is very sure that he
had in his Possession said Pocket Book and Notes when he
went into said House & that us other person (Except said other
Woman) was in Company with him at this time from which
and other Circumstances he doth verily believe that said
Esther Davis< no role >
feloniously stole the Same, and the said Jane Foy< no role >
says that she remembers said Esther Davis< no role >
coming to her Masters House on
said Night, and that she is very sure that said Esther Wm. Davis is one of
the Woman who was in Company with himthe said John Guidott< no role >
as aforesaid.
