Who being on Oath say and first the said John Johnson< no role >
says
that on Wednesday morning last the 31st. day of May last as he
was walking along the strand
near the New Church
he was accosted by
two persons now present who call themselves Ann Johnson< no role >
and
Susannah Thompson< no role >
that whilst he was talking to them he had
his Watch Stolen out of his Waistcoat pocket, And further says he is very sure
the Watch now produced by the said John Watts< no role >
is his property and is
the Watch that was so Stolen, The said Susannah Thompson< no role >
says
that she was in Company with the said Ann Johnson< no role >
and John
Johnson< no role >
at the time his Watch was Stolen as aforesaid and that
she saw said Ann Johnson< no role >
take a Watch out of said John

's pocket when she immediately Ran awayThe said John
Watts< no role >
says that on said Wednesday last the 31st of May he took the
Watch now produced in pledge for twelve Shillings of Ann Ascough< no role >
now presentAnd the said Ann Ascough< no role >
says that on Wednesday
last she Received the Watch now produced from said Ann Johnson< no role >
who said it was her husbands and desired her to pledge it for her, which she did with said Walk
for twelve shillings.
