Under part of the Old Church was a Vault alwayes made use of
by the Hospitall for Coales Etc. The Rest of the Church was used for
Buryalls

Upon the Rebuilding, there are Two Vault made under the Church
the Whole bignesse.

There is a Church Yard, sufficient for all the Buryalls which
happen in this Parish The Parishion pay nothing to the Minister
he haveing a Sallary or Pencon from the hospitall

Qu: 1st


Whether the Governrs have not a power, to Reserve or appoint a
part of this Church for the Use of the poor Patients in the Hospitall
And Whether the Chancell is not wholly under their Disposall so as
that they may make Seates there for themselves and the Officers of the
house And in whom lyes the Power of Placeing or Seating the Parishionrs

Upon perusall of the Grant I am of Opinion in the affirmative
That the Governors have a Power to all off part of the Church to the
poor Patients, And that they may make use of the Chancell, And may
place and displace the Parishioners

Whether the Governors have not a Right to use or dispose of both
the Vaults under the Church if they shall so think fitt, there being sufficient
provision for Buryalls in the Church Yard. And whether the Governors if
they are minded to Permitt One of the Vaults to be Used for Buryalls, may
not take Such Reasonable Rates for Buryalls there as they shall think propper

I am of opinion in the Affirmative that they have a Right to
dispose of the Vaults and may take reasonable Rates for the Buryalls
there
