The Peticons of Mr. Jacob Spooner< no role > Mr. Samll Wight< no role > Mr.
Joshua Bolt< no role > and Mr. Thomas Hamwell< no role > were severally Read
praying to be Admitted Steward of this Hospitall in the Roome of
John Weld< no role > decd, And the said Thomas Hamwell (who was One of
the Governors of this Hospitall) before the Reading of his Peticon
Surrendred his Green Staffe in Open Court and desired to be Discharged
from that Trust. And then this Court proceeding to the Choice of a
Steward, the said Joshua Boult< no role > was Freely Elected and Chosen and
accordingly at this Court Admitted to the Office of Steward of this
Hospitall To Hold the same dureing the pleasure of this Court
and not otherwise with the usuall Sallary and perquisites, He
observing all such Rules and Orders as are shall be made by this
Court or the Comittee in relacon to the said Office, Which he
promised in Open Court to observe and performe accordingly.
