of Two small Old Tenements lyeing in St. Thomas's Church Yard
late
in Lease toDyaper for Fifty One yeares from Michas
1705. and of Three other small Old Tenements Adjoyneing late in
Lease toAshby for Forty Seaven yeares & three Quarters from Xtmas
1708. At which time the present Lease Expires At the Yearely Rent of
Fifty shillings till Xtmas 1708. and from thence at Five pounds Ten
Shill P Ann for Remainder of the Terme. He is layout Two
Hundred pounds in building of Four or more new Birck Houses in
the Roome of these Old Houses within Three Yeares He is to make
& leave for Comon & Publick use a Gateway or passage under the said
Intended New Buildings out of St. Thomas's Street
into the sd. Church yard
for the Carrying of Corps thither and for the Conveniency of Passage
the Old Way being very Narrow & low. The said Gateway or Passage
to be as wide as the passage
leading to part of the said Houses out of Sr.
Thomas's Street
aforesd. and of equall Highth with the First Storey
of the sd. New Houses.
