Evan Pughs breach
of Covent. in digging
Gravell


Mr. Treasurer acquainted the Committee that Evan
Pugh
< no role > our Tennt. of the Bowling Green House Green &
Bare at Hackney had dug a great quantity of Gravell
out of the Bare in Breach of the Covenants of his Lease
& was in arreare for Rent.

Sr . Daniel Dolius< no role > Mr. Howard Mr. Read & Mr. Lamb are
desired to treat with the said Pugh on Accot. of the said
Breach of Covents. & Arreares & for the Surrendring of his
Lease & to Report their Proceedings to the next Comittee

abt Litter of Attorny


Resolved that the Names of the Grand Comittee Clerk
Steward Receiver Bedles & Porters of this Hospital be
inserted in the Letter of Attorny which was formerly
ordered to be prepared for Collecting the Rents of this
Hospital.

Margt. Leigh< no role > 's debt
as Extrix to Mr Hulton
the late Steward

Margaret Leigh< no role > 's Petition was read Praying time
for Payment of the debt due to the Hospital from the
late Steward to whom she is Executrix

Resolved that such Debt be adjusted and that such
Security as shall be propos'd by the said Mrs. Leigh for
securing the Paymt. thereof be laid before the next
Committee for their Consideration

Mr. Ozells Gratuity


Resolved that Mr. Ozell our Auditor be paid the sum
of £30. as a Gratuity for his trouble in Collecting and
transcribing the Accots. of this Hospital for 50. Years last
past & upwards.

Minutes of last Grand Committee read & Approved.

Sr . Daniel Dolins< no role > one of the Sub Comittee appointed
to treat with Evan Pugh< no role > our Tennt. of the Bowling
Green House at Hackney having reported the Treaty
between himselfe & the other Gentlemen of the sub
Comittee with the said Pugh

Resolved that a Bill be forthwith fil'd against
the said Pugh to Stay him from Committing Wast
and that all other necessary Measurer be taken for
Obtaining satisfaction for his Breach of Covenants
and Arreares of Rent.
