the late Storme, which he says amounts to
Two Hundred pounds or upwards, and the Capt: himself
was also Heard, & Insisted that if he could have an
Addiconall Terme, he would greatly Improve the
Estate, but the Comittee considering that the Hospll:
has received no Fine for this Estate for above
Sixty Yeares past, & the Reserved Rent is no more
then £10: P Ann; and that as the Capt: acknowledges
he gave abt: £1100: or £1200: for the purchase of this
Lease in Army Debentures, about 2: Years agoe
and that there are about Nineteen Years to come
in the Lease, They are of Opinion, that no
Allowance shall be made.

Mr: Bagnall, our Tennt. of the Side of the
Manner if Lynders ats Langleys in the Countyes
of Bucks & Hertfordshire , upon a Lease which
expires at Michas 1705: at £50: P Ann: Desired
to Renew for 21: Yeares at the old Rent, and
proposed to give Three hundred & Fifty pounds
Fine: which the Comittee considering of, and
being informed that in 1675: A Lease of these Lands
was Lett to Mr: Rowland Beresford< no role > for 21; Yeares
for a Fine of £720: Fine, and that by Mr. Bagnalls
acknowledgemt: the present Tennts: pay him £155:10d
P Ann: The Comittee is of Opinion that his
Offer is much under the Value, and he being
asked if he would advance any further, and to
refuseing to give any more, the Comittee told him
they would not Accept it, and that they would
endeavour to Lett it to some other person, with
which he said he should be well Satisfied [..]

Whereupon it was ordered. That a Publicacon
should be forthwith made in the Post Man, that
