Mr. Ward, our Temt of an Old Buke houses, and
a peice of Garden Ground in St. Thomas's lyeing
amongst the Old Tenemts: which the Governors: designe
to pull downesaid tofor the making a Cart Way to the
Mare Pond, You a Lease wherein there were Six
yeares 3/4 to come at Lady day Cast at £3:6s: P ann
Agrees at the request of the Comittee for the Accomodating
the Sd Designe to Surrender his sd Lease forthwith
And in Consideracon thereof and of the Charge he is to be at Repairing the Term here in after meaning It is Agreed between the
Comittee & him That he shall have A Lease granted
him for One & Twenty Yeares from Lady day last
at Four & Forly Shilings P and: of an Old Tenemt:
in St. Thomas's Street over agt: Three Herring Court
late in Leasex [..] with the Tenemt: adjoyning to Mr.
Cowles & Mr. Nixon at Five Pounds ten Shilling P
and which Lease expired at Lady day last He is
to have no part of the Comon way or passage to the
back Ground, but to lake it as now duided from
the sd adjoyning house, And is to be at the Charge
of putting the sd house into good & Substantiall
Repaire. He is to pay no further Rent the to
Lady day lad upon his Old Lease, and in case
the Old Rakehouse be not pulled downe before
Kt may he is have the Liberty of Continueing
in it, without any Rent for it

Mr. Cowles our Tennt. of the sd House adjoyning to
the House above agreed to be Lett to Mr Ward property
to give 15 Five and the Rent if 3l:6s: P ann
for a Lease thereof for 21 yeares from Lady day
lost, and to Put the House into Repaire Rut the
Comittee being of Opinion that the same is
worth much more for a Five, his Offer was Refu [..]
Agreed & Ordered that the Apothecaryes Shopper
& Laboratory shall be Removed to the Ground [..]
