The Steam Engine or other Mackins that may be wanted in the pavad
cution of the Weeks are allowed to be the property of the Lessee, but the
Hospital to have the Option of taking them at a pair Valuation of the
end of the Lease, such Valuation to be made by love pursurer different by
Chosen Etc.

The Extension of the Lease to Michmas 1823 intended of Lady day the
Treasurer objects to, but is willing to have a Clause inserted giving you
Liberty to sell of any away all the Coal that shall be got before Lady day tell
the Midsummer following.

In one prent Mr Cromwell has mistaken the Agreement, which
is that Whether two Acres of Coal are got, in one year or not, that upon
into pay £160 P Ann without Reference to what may be get in
any Succeeding year.

These are the Answer & Observations I have to make on the
Remarks you have sent in several Clauses of the lease. When you
have weighed & considered them be so good as to say in 4 speed of Answer
whether you approve of the whole is not, & when the Cromwell [..]

Sir

Serve your favour of the 18th July last on the Subject of
the Hospital's Estate at Gosport, I am without further Advice
from you on that business, & as the Lease expired at Lady day
(say the 5th April) it is now Term to prepare to enter on the
premises & to relett them to a responsible Tenant for them
fair Value.Mr. Edw. Cobb Hurry< no role > has expressed a Week
to be the Lessee, but as the Term the office fall very about
of what your friend concern them worth, I shall be much
obliged by given employing turn on behalf of the Hospital to
take immediate Steper in the business & report to me Chucon
in the Course of a few day.

The lease granted to Frances Darnan< no role > from Lady day 1752 for 51 Years, repairs
Lady day 1803 O. S.The Lessee covenants to pay all Taxes & assessment, &
to pull down in whole or inpart the Tenements then Subressing (as they appear
it is presumed on the annexed Grocer & Plot) & to exer other new buildings
to the Ancient of £500 at the least, the support them to the end of the
demese with all needful Repair. Notice of want of Repair or
delapedations to be given in writing & the same to be done within 3
