Sir St. Thomas Hospital 8 May 1802.
This server maily to acknowledge the Receipt of your Letter of
the Sd. Inft enclosing adraft upon Esdailes & Co. (due the 17th) for £300.
wheel as maturity will be placed to your credit. I am glad that you
have at Length compr [..] will Mr. Wellings tell for his Insurances;
what as can received must be ever be of as a top, to the Hospital There are
Many of the farm buildings ar Parndon [..] here that are [..] and (at
lease there are no polices as the Hospital, but whether the Tenants have
Insurances made by themselves is a querteen on wheel I have to Evidence)
I have the pleasure to tell you that sen labr. woalby Treasurer
Mr. Jeffrees is in Terms & took, says he is very well

Sir
I shall have great pleasure in giving you an order for some
Oatmeal for this Hospital provided you can deliver it upon
Term equal to what we pay at present, & as there has been
a considerable Reduction in the Price since your letter of the
9 March, you will please to say what you can supply us
well fine good Oatmeal at per Such of 20 Stone nell
Floor I am apprehensive me cannot deal with you for, but
you well please to name your price of that Arich likewise

Dear Sir St. Thomas Hospital 20th May 1802
In your Letter to Mr Beevers of the 10th March last you
desered him to communicate to the Intentions of the
Propreitors of Fullveem, Henton & Tevenham to enclose them
common & waste land, & by way of saving Expence to put all
the three purchase under one Sir of Solicitors & Commissioners.
This business I have submitted to the Grand Committee of
the Hospital who have given me Power to act agreeable to
my own direction, & as Iam pursuaded you can have no
Belive in recommending Mr Rodwell as our Commissioner
but the Benefit of the Hospital I request you will please to
make known to him my Approbation of your Choice;the
Solicitor I take for granted an men of mean Character
Responsibility. The place I hope will improve our Estate
which ment of Court be the great object of our Attention
Mr. Beavers acknowledged the Rect,. of your letter of the 3 inst.
covering a Remittance of £300 which is conseed to your Acct. We
are perfectly satisfied with your made of selling [..]
