receive them, & the City to pay to the Hospital 5 Plent Intent
[..] upon the Purchases Money of £5000 from that Term
to the Time of Payment of such Purchase moneys. I am surry
it was not in my Power to send this in Term for the meeting
of the Committee which has arisen from my Inabitily sooner
to see the Treasurer. I enclose [..] a Copy of the Resolution of the
Committee relative to the above Business by the Committee
direction under the Authority whereof I applied to you this

enclosing, a Contribution of fifty Pounds for the Benefit of St.
Thomas's Hospital, & shall with great pleasure take the [..]
Opportunity of proposing you to the Grand Committee as a Governor
thereof. I am Sir your most hble Servt.

I am honoured with your Letter of the morning enclosing the
Thanks of the Committee for carrying into Execution the Improve
ment on Snow Hill etc, to the president, Treasurer & Governors of
this Hospital for then Readiness in [..] will that verkes
of the Committee by permitlery the Houses purchased of the Charity
on her Hill to be taken down prescour to the payment of the purchase
money, which I shall have great pleasure in taking an early
Opportunity of communicating, of vizt, assure you that I shall
always consider a happy Understanding between the City of
London & St. Thomas's Hospital necessary to be [..] towards
the property of an Institution or Important to the public

Sir
I am favoured with years of yesterday enclosing a draft due
the 17th. in [..] for £10. for a years rent mr Premises on
lease to Mr. Frans Damanded at Lady day last, which will
be placed to credit. The Treasurer purposes arreting soon to
Mr Lendegreen of Portsmouth on the Subject of those premises
and after he has had she necessary Report he will possibly [..]
