The Governors of the Hospl. are very uneasy
at your being so greatly in debt to them, his not a custom any
thing for any of their Tenants to be ever more than a year behind,
I have directions from them to do what must greatly prove to your
Damage I was willing in favour to you, to give you this notice
that by speedily bringing a handsome Sum of Money, you may
prevent a great deal of Trouble & Charge. I shall expect to
hear from you to the purpose in a Week, by this I shew
that I am

Mr Knock
Mr Swaine of Haistingleigh has sent Notice the he
intends to fell Earmons Sheave & the lower part of Hards springs
between this & Christmas next you are therefore desired to
take care of the Timber growing & to mark all such Storers
Wavers or Tillers as are proper to be left. He is restrained
from cutting above one third part [..] of the underwood in
any one year & to cutt none under thirteen years growth
or above fifteen If you observe any trees to have done
thriving & grow Stag headed, Mr Treasurer would have 'em
fell'd & let him have an account thereof
You'l please to remember the Money that is due for
the Ash you sold & order payment thereof
