The Lease of the Hospital Estate drawing towards its
expiration some of the Governors are thinking that it
will be convenient to take a view of it next Year & in
the mean time desire your thoughts & information of what
you think most proper & fitt to be done in relation
thereto: they desire in particular to know your
judgment of the Vallue, and if necessary to be let
to so many tenants as it now is or what alterations
may be convenient to be made for the benefit &
advantage of the Hospital We desire your particular
thoughts about the Coal delfts, & what limitations
are necessary as to making of Shafts & levelling
the ground & what quantity they Annually
get up & how farr they are carryed for Sale or
Consumption pray what do the quarries of
Stone usually produce, these things & what
ever else you find proper to inform us of
pray write me in answer here to for our better
judgeing of the Vallue of the Estate. We are
informed that the Lands in our Estate are
