I laid before the Grand Committee your letter to
me of the 23dd, March, and have their directions. to
return you many thanks for the trouble you have
been so kind to take for their Service, and desire
you will yet favour them further by talking
with Mr John Hancock< no role >
as to what measures
he proposes for payment of his Arrear which
is £100 at Lady day last, and the growing
rents during the continuance of his term
and then inform me by a Line what passes
with him on that Subject, I would omit
no opportunity of acknowledging my self.
