The Chairman of the Sessions laid before this meeting the
following Letter which he had received from his Grace the Duke of
Northumberland together with an Order of the Lords of his Majesty
Most Honourable privy Council inclosed Vizt.

Northumberland House 12th Novemr. 1776

the order of his Ma
jestys privy Council

Having this day received an Order of His Majestys Privy
Council bearing date the 8th. Instant Whereby I am required to ca [..]
upon the Justices of the peace within the County of Middlesex and
strictly to enjoin and require them to cause all stragling Seame [..]
who are fit to Serve on Board his Majestys Ships to be taken up
and sent by proper persons from place to place until they should
be brought to the Clerks of the Cheque of His Majestys Yards a [..]
Deptford Woolwick Chatham Sheerness Portsmouth Plymou [..]
or to the Naval Offices at Harwick in such manner and with such
Allowances to the persons who shall be intrested with the Cond [..]
them as in the said order is mentioned which order I send your
inclosed herewith and in Obedience thereto, I do hereby desire
You as Chairman of the Sessions of the said County will without
delay cause the Justices to be called together to take the said
order in Consideration and to carry the same into immediate
Execution in the most Effectual manner not doubting but they [..]
erect themselves with that zeal Vigilance and Spirit for his Maj [..]
Service which they have at all times Shewn and which the [..]
Importance of the present occasion more particularly decam [..]
