By adjournment 15 May 1777

The Chairman reported that he had waited upon his Grace
the duke of Northumberland pursuant to the Order made at
the last Session to desire His Grace as Custos Rotulorum of the
County of Middlesex to call a Meeting of all the Gentlemen who
are named in the Commission of the peace for the said County to
consider whether it is not become necessary from the present
ruinous condition of Hicks Hall to apply to parliament for
An Act to Enable them to build a new Session House and that
his Grace had been pleased to appoint the 27th. day of May
Instant for such Meeting

By adjournment same day

Ordered that the Haymarket Committee do meet on
Thursday next the 23d day of June next at Eleven O Clock in
the forenoon at the Prince of Orange Coffee House in the Haymarkt .
and proceed under the Several Order of reference to them given

By adjournment same day

It is Ordered that a proper number of printed
Orders of Court made at the General Session of the peace holden
in the month of May last for the prevention of the disorders
committed at Bow Fair and other Fairs holden within the
County of Middlesex be posted up in conspicuous places near the
parts where such Fairs are holden
