Order for Mr. John Higgs< no role >
the County Treasurer to
pay £22.1s. unto Mr. Henry
Wallbank Keeper of the
House of Correction at
Clerkenwell for passing
& relieving Vagrants &
Vagabonds.}

It Appearing to this Court by Certificate bearing date this
thirteenth day of October instant under the hands of Thomas
Moore & Francis Hole< no role > Esqrs . being of the Committee of his Maties
Justices of the Peace of this County for Stating and adjusting the
thepublick Accounts of the Said County, that they have perused the
Account of Mr. Henry Wallbank< no role > Keeper of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell in this County comenceing the fifth day of Septr.
1743 and ending the twelfth day of October instant inclusive, and
examined the Same with the Vouchers and find that the Sum of
£22.1s. is due unto the Said Henry Wallbank< no role > upon the Said
Account for the passing & relieving of Vagrants and Vagabonds
untill the Said twelfth day of October instant inclusive, And he
praying that this Court will please to Order that the Said Sum may
be paid unto him, It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do pay the Said Sum of twenty two Pounds
and one Shilling unto the Said Henry Wallbank< no role > in full of his
Said demand, And that the Same be allowed to the Said
Treasurer upon his Account.

By adjornment on Thursday the 13th. day of Octr. 1743.

provided for Prisoners

Information being given unto this Court by Francis Hole< no role > Esqr.
one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace of this County that an
Account of Mrs. Mary Whitehead< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Baker for Bread by her found
& provided for Prisoners in the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
fromSessions 1743 untill the latter End of
Sessions in the Same Year was produced to him the Said Mr. Hole
& another Justice of the peace for this County present at the Goal
Delivery of the Sessions last mentioned to Settle and adjust
what Sum of Money was due to her for the bread by her found & provided for the Said Prisoners for the Time aforesaid And
the Said Mr. Hole now declaring that the Sum thatof nine Pounds
nine
