County Treasurer to pay
£13..0s..8d. unto Mr. Henry
Wallbanck Keeper of the
House of Correction at
Clerkenwell for passing &
relieveing Vagabonds}

It appearing to this Court by Certificate under the Hands of Merry Teskmaker
& Francis Hole< no role > Esquires being of the Committee of his Majestys Justices of
the peace of this County for Stating and adjusting the publick Accounts of the
said County that they have perused an Account of Mr. Henry Wallbanck< no role > Keeper
of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in the said County commenceing from
the Nineteenth Day of May 1743 and ending this Thirtyeth Day of June
in the same Year And that they have Examined the same with the Voucher
and find that the Sum of Thirteen pounds & Eight pence is due unto the
said Henry Wallbanck< no role > upon the said Account for the passing and relieving
of Vagrants & Vagabonds untill the said Thirtieth Day of June 1743.
And he praying that the said Sum may be paid unto him, It is Ordered
by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the said
Sum of Thirteen pounds and Eight pence unto the said Henry Wallbanck< no role >
in full of the Moneys due to him upon the said Account And that the
said Sum be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his Account

Order concerning the putting
down a post and placeing
some Rails for the present
Security of such part of
Chertsea Bridge as is in
Middx Etc}

It being represented unto this Court that it is necessary that at Woodenpost
Should be put down for the Security of such part of Chertsea Bridge as
is in the County of Middx and that some Rails should be also placed upon
the Top of the aforesaid part of the said Bridge for the safety of passengers
passing and repassing over the same untill such time as the same can
be effectually repaired, It having been Resolved that some endeavours
should be used to have the aforesaid part of the said Bridge in Middx and
also such part of the same Bridge as is in Surry which is also very much
out of repair to be repaired at one and the same time to prevent his
Majestys Subjects from being stopped at two different seasons from
passing over the said Bridge And for effecting the same an Order was
made by this Court in May Sessions last in Order to Communicate the
said matter to his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Surry
to the intent that they might appoint a Committee to meet the Comittee
of his Majestys Justices of the peace of Middx in this behalf already
appointed or any three of them to consult together about the repairing
the said Bridge at one and the same time and the manner of doing the
same, But there not being a Committee of the Justices of the peace of Surry as
yet appointed concerning the said matter And it being necessary that such post
and Rails as aforesaid should be put down and placed for the present Security
of such part of the said Bridge as is in Middx and the passengers going over the
same untill the same can be more effectually repaired It is thereupon ordered by
this Court that it be And it is hereby recommended and referred unto the said
Committee of Justices of the peace of Middx already appointed (to wit) Sr. Thomas
Reynell Baronet Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > James Clitherow< no role > Richard Bulstrode< no role > William
Morice
< no role > Jacob Harvey< no role > Robert Hinde< no role > Richard Ricards< no role > and John Elliott< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. Esquires
or any tow of them to cause such post and Rails as aforesaid to be put down
and placed for the Security of the aforesaid part of the said Bridge in the County
of Middx and of the passengers going over the same untill such time as the same
can be more effectually repaired And to Report an Account of the Expence of
putting down and placeing such post and Rails to the Court of Sessions of the peace
for this County to the End that the Court may give direction touching the paymt.
of such Sum of Money as shall be due for the same.
