times as they Shall in this behalf appoint to take a View of the
Said two Offices, and to consider of the Estimate and Plan
aforesaid, And to See and consider what Alterations are
proper to be made in the Court at Hicks Hall , It being alledg-
-ed that the Till for keeping the Records there, and also the
Table over the Same are both of them too narrow and incon-
-venient, And also to consider if any more comodious place may
be made for the Traverse Jury in Court, And also to direct
what Sort of Chairs are proper to be provided for the Great
Dining Room at Hicks Hall , And to inspect and examine
and audite the Account of Mr. John Higgs< no role > of the Rents of the
Estate belonging to this County, And to make their Report
touching the Premisses to the Court of Sessions of the Peace
for the said County.

By Adjornment on Thursday the Eighth Day of
December 1743.

Marquand Carpenter in
relation to the new Build-
-ing of Brentford
Bridge Etc}

Whereas Thomas Lane< no role > , Robert Hucks< no role > & Nicholas
Jeffreys Esquires being a Quorum of the Committee of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx appointed by an Order
in Such behalf made at the last General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
holden for the Said County by Adjornment on the thirteenth Day of
October last have by their Report in Writing under their hands
Certifyed. unto this Court that in pursuance of the Said Order they did
meet and have inspected Settled and adjusted the respective Accounts of
Mr. Thomas Dunne< no role > the Mason & Mr. Charles Marquand the
Carpenter on account of Work by them respectively done & Materials
by them found in and about the new building of Brentford Bridge in the
Said County of Middx and likewise the respective Accounts of the Said
Mr. Duune and Mr. Marquand on each other And that the Said
Committee having Settled and adjusted each of their Demands they
other General Releases, And that the Said Committee upon Settling
and adjusting the Said Mr. Marquand's Account of his Demands upon
the County and what Moneys he had reced on that Account Did find
that the Said Mr. Marquand had been overpaid the Ballance of his
account the Sum of fifty four Pounds and eight Shillings which the said
Committee Ordered that the Said Mr. Marquand should pay to the said
Mr. Dunne the Said Sum of fifty four Pounds and eight Shillings in
part of what was due from this County to the Said Mr. Dunne, And
