Order for Mr Samuel Weaver< no role >
Collector of the Toll Money of
the Hay-Market to pay
£72.17s.11d remaining in his
hands unto Mr John higgs< no role >
the County Treasurer subject
to the order of the Court of
Sessions.

It Appearing to this Court upon inspecting the Account
of Mr Samuel Weaver< no role > of the money by him collected for the
Toll of Hay & Straw brought to and sold in the Hay market
in the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields & St James
within the Liberty of Westmr. in this County in the Year 1741
that the next money by him reced for the said Toll computing
the amount thereof at the End of every Quarter of a Year
over and above the Deduction of 4s in the Pound for his
trouble and pains in collecting doth amount to the Sums
following (to wit)

The Quarter from Lady day to Midsumer£29.7s.5d
The Quarter from Midsumer to Michas£27.4s.7d
The Quarter from Michas to Christmas£22.13s.0d
The Quarter from Christmas to Lady day£23.0s.4d
In all £102.5s.4d

And It appreareth to this Court by a Rect: of
the 25th of June 1741 under the hand of Mr Chas
Mist that the said Samuel Weaver< no role > paid to
him for Midsumer quarter the said sum of}£29.7s.5d

So that there is now remaining in
the hands of the said Samuel Weaver< no role >
of the said Toll money the sum of}£72.17s.11d

Order for Mr Samuel Weaver< no role >
Collector of the Toll money of
the Hay-Market to pay
£72.17s.11d remaing in his
Hands unto Mr John Higgs< no role >
the County Treasurer subject
to the Order of the Court of
Sessions.

And the said Samuel weaver< no role > acquainting this Court that he
for several Years paid the Toll money of the said Hay market
unto Mr John Mist< no role > Paviour (since deced) who had new paused
and was to keep the same in repair and to have the yearly sum
of one hundred pounds for so doing pursuant to a contract between
him and several Justices of the peace for a certain term of years
still subsisting, And that he the said Samuel Weaver< no role > not being
certain who was the proper Representative of the said John Mist< no role >
and Intituled to receive the said Toll money remaining in his
hands he therefore prayed the direction of this Court touching his
payment thereof, Whereupon it is ordered by this Court that the
said Samuel Weaver< no role > do pay the said Sum of seventy two pounds
seventeen Shillings and eleven Pence remaining in his hands as
aforesaid unto Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County, And that his
receipt together with this order or a Coppy thereof shall be a sufficient
Discharge to the said Samuel Weaver< no role > for such Payment which Sum
is to remain in the hands of the said Treasurer until it shall
appear who are or is the legall Representative or Representatives of
the
