the top rails Seven inches by five, the under one four
inches by three using Such old railing of the former Bridge
as is Sound & good, The new work to be painted three times,
and the old twice in Oyl, for which he is to be paid Such Price as
shall be Settled by Messrs. Horn and Bond, And that they find
the expence of changing Mr. Crisps windows from the
Front to the end of his house will be upwards of ten pounds,
But Mr. Crisp intending to make Some further alterations
in that part of his house chuses to have ten pounds paid
him by the County rather than to haveten poundshis
windows removed by the workmen, which the said two
Justices thinking a reasonable demand recommend it to
be made an Order of this Sessions, This Court upon [..]
consideration of the premisses Doth concurr with the said
Committee, And doth ratify and confirm the aforesaid
Report and the contracts or agreements therein above
Specifyed, And doth recomend it to the said Sr. Joseph
Ayloff Houlding
< no role > Bart . James Clitherow< no role > Esquire and
Richard Bulstrode< no role > Esquire being of the Committee above
mentioned or any two of them to direct the matters and
things above Specifyed to be done and performed, according
to the tenor of the said Report, And doth Order that the Sum
of ten pounds above mentioned be paid by the Treasurer
of this County unto the said Mr. Crisp upon account of his
said demand, and be allowed to the said Treasurer upon
his account.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 3d. day of June 1742 .

Information being given unto this Court by James
Clitherow Esquire one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the peace
for this County being of the Committee for inspecting the
progress of the works carrying on in order to finish the new
building of Brentford Bridge in the said County that the Sum of
£37..12s..0d is due unto Joseph Worster< no role > Nathaniel Swinden< no role > &
John Cherry< no role > for gravel by them provided and Spread upon
Brentford Bridge aforesaid for the greater Security of the Same,
It is Ordered by this Court that the said Sum of thirty Seven
pounds and twelve Shillings be paid by the Treasurer of this
County unto the respective persons above named to whom the
Same are above mentioned to be due as aforesaid, and that
the said Sum be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his account.
