Same) And that a further Sum of money (over & above
the Said twenty pounds) will be necessary to be allowed
to defray the charge of doing the Said further repaires, And
that the workmen which have been employed to do the
repaires first above mentioned desire to be paid the moneys
due to them for the Same, It is Ordered by this Court that the Said
Mr. Clitherow be and he is hereby desired to employ Such
able Workman or Workmen as he Shall think proper to do
Such further repaires and to expend Such Sum or Sums of
of money therein (not exceeding the Sum of ten pounds
in the whole) as he Shall think proper to be done for Secureing
the Said Bridge untill the time of rebuilding the Same,
And that Such Sum or Sums of money as the Said Mr. Clitherow< no role >
shall by any writing or writings by him Signed under his
hand certify tothebe due to the Workmen and shall direct to
be paid to them respectively for doing the Said further
repaires as also for doing the Said former reparies pursuant to
the Said recited Order not exceeding the Sum of thirty pounds
in the whole, be paid to them respectively by Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County And that the receipts of Such
Workmen together with this Order and Such writing or
writings Signed under the hand of the Said Mr. Clitherow Shall
be Sufficient discharges to the Said Treasurer for Such payments.

It appearing to this Court by writing or Certificate under the hands of
Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > Bart . & Robert Hinde< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the peace for this County that the Sum of fifty two pounds
and three Shillings is due to John Browne< no role > Carpenter for materials
by him found and work by him done by their Order in & about
repairing Such part of Chertsea Bridge as is in the Said County
for which the Bill or account of the Said John Brown< no role > is now
produced before this Court, And that the Said two Justices have
perused the Said Account & Articles therein, and have also viewed
the work charged, and approve of the Same, It haveing been
recomended to them the said two Justices by two former Orders
of Sessions to cause Some necessary repaires to be done to the
aforesaid part of the Said Bridge, This Court being Satisfyed of
the truth of the premisses, and that the Said Work was necessary
to be done for Security of the Said Bridge and for the Safety of
Passengers, And the Said John Brown< no role > praying that the Said
Sum may be paid unto him It is Ordered by this Court that
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the Said
Sum of fifty two pounds and three Shillings unto the Said
John Brown< no role > in full of his Said Bill and of all his demands
