he being now in the County for the recovery of his health) And
to proceed to take and Adjust the said Accounts, And for that
purpose all present or late Treasurers and present or late high
Constables in this County & other persons concerned are required
to Attend the said Committee at such times & place as they shall
in this behalf Appoint, And then and there to produce an
Account of all Moneys by them respectively received and how
disposed of and what is remaining in their respective hands
before the Committee aforesaid.

Whereas It appeareth to this Court by the Oaths of Joseph
Jackson
< no role > Bricklayer, Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter , John Stable< no role >
Plumber , John Adams< no role > Painter , Charles Wainwright< no role >
Smith, and Thomas Williams< no role > Glazier that the charge of
repaireing the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this
County (which hath been presented by a Grand Jury for
the Same County to be very much out of repaire) will
in their Judgment amount in the whole to the Sum of
two hundred and fourteen pounds ten Shillings & ten
pence half penny or thereabouts, And whereas an Order
and a Rate hath been this day made by this Court for
raiseing moneys to defray the expence and charge of
repaireing the Said House of Correction , This Court being
of opinion that the Same Should be well & Sufficiently
repaired Doth Order that it be And It is hereby
recomended & referred unto Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > William

may require and See that the timber & materials to
be used be Sound & good and that the Said repaires be
well & Sufficiently done & performed, in a Substantial
& workman like manner, And to order Such Sum or
