been given, and by whom, to
hinder the raiseing of the

purpose}

Information being given unto this Court by John Tarver< no role >
Esqr . one of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County
residing in New Brentford Division in the Said County
and by other Justices of the peace of the Same County
That a publick Bridge called Brentford Bridge within
the parish of Hanwell in the Same County (which
hath been heretofore repaired & ought to be now
repaired by the Inhabitants of this County) is now in
very great decay for want of repaire insomuch that
it is dangerous to his Maties Subjects to pass over the
Same, and that it is highly necessary that the Said
Bridge Should be forthwith repaired, And that
not withstanding a Rate was made in January
Sessions last upon the Several parishes & places in this
County for raiseing the Sum of two hundred pounds
for repaire of the Said Bridge Yet no person would
enter into a Contract for repaireing, the Same For
that Some obstruction hath been given (as it is now
Alledged) in raiseing the Said moneys, and that
therefore the Said Bridge remaines unrepaired, This
Court being of opinion that the Said matter Should
be inquired into Doth Order that it be And It is hereby
recommended and referred unto Sr. Henry Vincent< no role >
