him, and being ready & willing to account for all such moneys
as he hath received and paid by virtue of his said Office
humbly prays this Court will please to discharge him from
the said Office and appoint some fitt & able person in his room
and stead, This Court being satisfyed of the truth of the
premisses Doth appoint Benjamin Clements< no role > of the parish of
Istleworth within the Hundred of Istleworth in this County
Gente to be high Constable of the said Hundred of Istleworth
in the room and place of the Peticoner, And doth Order that the
said Benjamin Clements< no role > doe forthwith (after notice of this
Order) attend James Clitherow< no role > and John Tarver< no role > Esqrs . two of
his Maties Justices of the peace for this County residing
neare the said Hundred or one of them or Some other
Justice of the peace for the said County residing in or neare
the said Hundred, and take his Oath for his due execucon of
the Office of high Constable within the Hundred of Istleworth
aforesaid, And from & after such time as the said Benjamin
Clements

discharged from his said Office of high Constable,

of St. James Clerkenwell }

Whereas Charles Ley< no role > Clerke Minister of the parish of St. James
Clerkenwell in this County exhibited his humble peticon unto the
Court of the last General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for
this County by Adjornmt. on Thursday the fourteenth day of
January last settingforth that there is a small house adjoyning
to New Prison at Clerkenwell belonging to the Justices of the
peace for the said County and [..] vested in Trustees which
is very ruinous and out of repaire, And the Lease to the present
Tenant was (as the petr. was informed) expired or very near
expiring, And that the petr. has been an Inhabitant of the said
parish and Officiated as Curate & Minister there for the space of
fourteen years & upwards, and has noe house allowed him for
his habitation, but is obliged to hire a house there at his owne
charge, And the petr. praying that he might be admitted to
have a lease from the said Trustees of the said house for such
termes, and under such rent & covenants as to the Court
should seem meet, It was by an Order made by the said
Court referred unto Sr.Thomas John Gonson< no role > Knt. Nathaniel

Committee to assemble and meet together at Colchesters
Coffeehouse in Red Lyon Street Clerkenwell on Monday the
twenty fifth day of the aforesaid Month of January at eleven
of the clock in the forenoon and at such other times and places
as they should in that behalf appoint, And to see the state
and condicon of the premisses, and what interest was
standing out in any person therein, and what rent was
