hath paid to the Plts. Attorney for the costs of suit by them
recovered against him the said Richard Norwood< no role > in the said
accon the Sume of twenty eight pounds, And whereas the said
Richard Norwood< no role > haveing by his Attorney made applicacon to
the Court of the last General Quarter Sessions, and prayed a
reimbursment of the said Sume of twenty eight pounds, In
regard his name was only made use of to try the right of the
matter in question upon a feigued Issue in the accon
aforesaid, And for that an Order was formerly made at a
General Sessions of the peace for this County to Support the high
Constables of the said County in case of any prosecucon
against them by the Clerk of the Market in relacon to his
Jurisdiccon by colour of his said Office, This Court being
Satisfyed of the truth of the premisses Doth Order that the said
Sume of twenty eight pounds be reimbursed & paid to the
said Richard Norwood< no role > by Peter Walter< no role > Esqr . Clerk of the
peace of this County out of the interest money due and
payable upon the South Sea Bond for payment of £100. &
interest, which Bond was purchased out of the Colt money
belonging to the Justices of the peace for this County and was
left in the hands of the said Clerk of the peace for the use of
the Justices of the peace for the same County And the receipt of
the said Richard Norwood< no role > together with this Order shall be
a Sufficient discharge to the said Clerk of the peace for such
payment, And It is further Ordered by this Court that the said
Sume of twenty eight pounds shall be repaid to the said
Clerk of the peace for the use of the Justices of the peace of this
County and be replaced out of such publick money as the
Court of General Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for
this County shall for that purpose appropriate & appoint.
