Justices of the peace for this County or any three or more
of them as a Committee to meet together at such times &
places as they shall appoint, And to inspect the laws for
regulating and settling the prices for the carriage of goods
And to consider in what manner and at what rates It is
fit that the prices for the carrige of goods brought by
comon Waggoners & Carriers to places within the
Weekly Bills of Mortality in this County of Middx
and within the Jurisdicton of This Court should be
regulated & settled And to make their Report in
writing touching the premisses to the Court of General
or Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County so as the
same may be regulated & settled according to Law at
the next Easter Sessions of the peace for this County,

This Court being informed of some disrespectfull
treatment used by some of the Justices of Goal Delivery
assembled at the Goal Delivery of Newgate now holden
for the County of Middx at Justice Hall in the Old Baily in
the suburbs of the City of London towards several of his
Maties Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
present at the said Goal Delivery in requiring that the
said Justices of the peace should be uncovered in the Court
there, and in alledgeing that they had noe busyness there,
or to that effect, whereas it is publickly known that the
Justices of the peace have heretofore sat usually covered
in the Court of Goal Delivery and been respectfully
treated there, This Court is of opinion that the
disrespectfull treatment above mentioned is a great
affront to the Justices of the peace of this County of Middx.
