And the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid
further present that the said Alexander Anderson< no role > on the said 21st day of Decr
in the16th21st Year aforesaid and long before and always after untill the
Day of the taking of this Inquisition was Inhabiting and resaint
paying Scott and bearing Lot within the Parish of St. Christ. le Stocks
in the Ward of Broad Street Dewgateaforesd in London aforesd And that within the
Ward Broad Street Dew streetaforesd there is and from the Time whereof the Memory of
Man is not to the Contrary there hath been a certain Court of our said
Lord the King and his Predecessors called the Wardmote held and to be
held in every Year upon the Feast of saint Thomas the Apostle (unless
the said Feast happened to be a fell on a Sunday and in that Case upon the
Day next following the said Feast) before the Alderman of the Ward
aforesd for the time being or his Deputy in which said Court according
to the Custom within the said Ward for all the time aforesd used and
Approved to witat Drapers Hallin the said Parish of SaintSaintsPeter le PoorJohn the Baptistin the
Ward aforesaid all the Men Inhabiting and Resiant paying Scott
and bearing Lott for the Time being within the Ward aforesaid
