that is to say at the Parish afsd: in the Ward afsd: had Notice Nevertheless
the sd. Alex Anderson< no role > Ellis Needham< no role > James SlangerLittle regarding his Duty in his behalf but
endeavouring & intending as much as in him lay totally to hinder and
retard the sue Execution of Justice from the sd 21day of Decr
in the19th21st Year afsd to the day of the taking of this Inquisition hath
voluntarily obstinately & contemptuously wholly refused denied and
neglected to take upon himself the Office of one of the Wardmote Inquest
against his sd Duty to wit at London afsd: in the Parish & Ward afsd. In
manifest contempt & delay of Justice To the bad Example of all others
in the like Case offending and against the Peace of our sd Lord the King
his Crown & Dignity And the Jurors afsd: upon their Oath aforesaid
further present that the sd Alexander Anderson< no role > Ellis Needham< no role > Jas Slangeron the sd 21 day of
December in the19th21st Year afsd: and long before & always after untill
the day of the taking of this Inquisition was Inhabiting & resiant
Paying Scot & bearing Lot within the Parish of Saint Christopher the StockSaint Magdalen in Mill Street Vedast
in the Ward of Broad Street Cripplegate within Farringdon within afds: in London afsd: And that
within the Ward of Broad StreetCripplegate within Farringdon withinafsd: there is and from the time
whereof the Memory of Man is not to the Contrary there hath been a Certain
Court of our sd Lord the King & his Predecessors called the Wardmote held &
to be hold in every Year upon the Feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle
