for himself Saith that on the Tenth Day of
November last Two thousand bushels of Rock salt
were shipped on board the said Ship or Vessel called the
Ashten
at Liverpool in the County of Lancaster (as appear
to this Deponent by a certain Bill of Lading under the
hand of Robt Thompson< no role >
bearing date the said Tenth
day of November last) in order to be conveyed by Sea
to the Port of London
for and on account of Stephen
Abbott of Catherine Court
, Tower Hill
London aforesaid
Salt Merchant [..] subject of this Realm
the Owner of the Salt and this Deponent saith
that the duty for all the said Salt hath been paid
to His Majesty< no role >
And this Deponent Robert Thompson< no role >
for Himself Saith that on or about the sixteenth Day
of November last the said Ship or Vessel called the
Ashton with the said Salt in Board set Sail from
Liverpool
aforesaid for the said Port of London
and that on or about the Twenty Sixth day of the
said Month of November the said Ship or Vessels
called the Ashton with the said Salt on Board in the
