for the City of London Assembled in Quarter Sessions

The humble Peticon and Appeale of the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx

Sheweth


That by an Order Under the hands and Seales of two of his Majesty
Justices of the Peace for the City of London one of them appointed by Act of
Parliamt. bearing date the third day of Augt. last Sarah Tallant an
Infant Aged Six Yeares was (upon the Oath of Elizth. Perry< no role > that Sarah
Tallant
< no role > the Mother of the sd. Infant did abt. fourteen Yeares Agoe live
with her the sd. Elizth. Perry< no role > in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes as a
yearly hired Servt. at ye Wages of four Pounds by the yeare for the Space of
two yeares & upwards) removed from the Precinet of White Fryers in
the City of London to the Parish of st. Clemt. Danes as the Place of the
last legall Settlemt. of the sd. Sarah Tallant the Mother of the sd. Sarah< no role >
Tallant the Infant whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves to
be Agreived and agt. the sd. Order do appeale.

Your Petrs. therefore humbly pray your Worshipps
wd. be Pleased to Appint some day this Present
Sessions to hear & determine the matter touching
the sd. appeale
