Fryers in ye City of London , and to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of Saint Clemen Deans in
the County of Middx respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof one of them Appointed by Act of Parliament (Quorum
unus)
by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of theParish of Precinct of White Fryers in ye City of
London, That Sarah Tallant an Infant Aged Six
Years is lately come to reside in
your saidParishPrecinct not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and is likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of her tender Age
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of Elizabeth Perry< no role > that Sarah
Tallant
< no role > Mother of the sd. Infant Sarah Tallant< no role > did about
fourteen years ago live with her ye sd. Elizabeth Perry< no role > in the sd
Parish of St. Clement Deans in ye County of Middx as a Yearly
Hired Servant at ye yearly Wages of four pounds by the
Space of two years & upwards and hathnot
not obtain d. and subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
Last legal Settlement of the said Sarah Tallant the
Younger to be
in the said Parish of Saint. Clement Deans in the County
of Middx and that thitherto
She ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Infant
Sarah Tallant< no role >
from and out of your saidParish of Precinet of
White Fryers London , to the said Parish of
Saint. Clement Deans in ye Liberty of ye City of Westminster
and County of Middx and Her leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for Her according to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the third Day of August Anno
Domini 172 Annoq: Regui Regis Georgij 2di
in the
year of our Lord 1733 .
