one of his Maties:
Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middx
in Order to apprehend Wm Johnson &
Hill for takeing two Fallow Deer &
one Fawn out of a park belonging to the
said Sr Jeremy & this Depont. further saith
that he together with one Andrew Hood< no role >
a
Constable
in London about the 26th of
October last met wth: the sd Wm Johnson< no role >
in Bucklers Bury
in London at wch: time
this Depont. told the sd Johnson that he ad
a Warrt. to apprehend him for Deer stealing
& then laid hold of the sd Johnson & pulled
him off his Horse & that one Thomas
Turner< no role >
then prsent came up to this Depont.
& laid hold on his Collar & rescued the
said Johnson out of his Custody whereby
the sd Johnson [..] then & there made
his escape & went at large.
