of the Poor of the Parish of St. Bottolphs
Bishopsgate London , and to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of St. John Wappin in the
County of Middx respectively.

WHEREAS Compaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St. Bottolphs Bishopsgate in ye City of
London, That Frances< no role > the wife of Jonathan Wood< no role >
Anthony< no role > their Sone an Infant of the Age of four
Years and Mary< no role > their Daughter aged two years
have Intruded themselves into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and are likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of their Great Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the sd. Jonathan Wood< no role >
that he did about twenty seven years agoe live with
William Johnson< no role > a Ship Corker in the Parish of St. John
Wappin in the Coutny of Middx as an Apprentice bound
by Indentures by the Space of one year & hath
not obtain d. and subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
Last legal Settlement of the said Jonathan Wood< no role > Frances
his wife And Anthony & Mary their Children to be
in the said Parish of St. John Wappin in the County of
Middx and that thitherto
They ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Jonathan Wood< no role >
Frances his wife & Anthony & Mary their Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Bottolph Bishopsgate
in the City of London , to the said Parish of
St. John Wappin in the County of Middx
and them leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 16th Day of March Anno
Domini 17 32 Annoq: Regni Regis Georgij 2di 6a.
